Toronto Beach Chorale performs Antonio Vivaldi’s ‘Magnificat’ as well as his lesser known ‘Introduction’ RV 639 paired with his other ‘Gloria in D Major’ RV 588. Music historian HC Robbins Landon has promoted both these works for their musical merit, equal to Vivaldi’s famous ‘Gloria in D Major’ RV 589.
